Love Mode -DJ Clazzi

Was supposed to meet Sarina for morning jog but apparently she was not able to wake up. So we met later at noon at Jurong East station. As usual, she came late.

Our plan for today: Trip to Marina Barrage!

And we met up with Raudha and her bf because kind Yusman will be driving us there! Thanks alot for the pickup! =D Yus the Man!

We stopped by Marina Shopping Centre for Sarpino pizza to eat at the Barrage. =)

And not long after, we finally reached the place. The weather was freaking hot yet freaking windy. Freaking cool.

We entered from the carpark. It looked quite small, but it is spacious. We headed to the 2nd floor, where we entered the gallery. Once we entered, Sarina and me went the cool designs. In other words, the interior designs. I fell in love with them.I didn't know I was taking a picture of myself, until I saw the picture. It's actually a mirrored ceiling, as well as part of the design. This pillar is covered with tons of bottles! And I like how this picture makes the rim at the bottom of the bottle look like it's glowing. =) Sarina in front of the timeline wall. Whatchacallit.Around the side of the pillar are more cool shit ass designs! And this is taken inside one of the 'raindrops', facing up.No comments. Haha!A random picture I took. It looks nice. This will look great on a T-shirt.The next part of the gallery tour. Interactive screens! And the place is decorated with flowing fountains at the side of the pathway. And they made it look as nature-rific as possible.
And this is like a sims garden, where you can add items into the virtual park like stones, flowers, etc.

This is actually not real. It's just painted on the ceiling. Well, just telling you. Heh.
This is taken under our feet. Yes, the floor is transparrent. And it shows the map of Singapore as well. Cubified!I think this is the biggest water catchment area. Because I was too busy taking pictures. Heh.
Apparently there are screens of different sizes al0ng the pathway. And you can take a picture of yourself. The next thing you know, you may see your face appearing randomly on one of the screens! Haha! And you can create a postcard featuring yourself! Just pick a background and there'll be a webcam. When you're ready you can just take a picture of yourself and you'll be able to send it to a friend. Sarina and me took a picture. The quality of the webcam is terrible, and the design of the postcard is well... not that good either. =(

Part of my head is cut off! ><And the last part of the 'tour'. And it's the best part of the whole tour! The idea of how the Marina Barrage was created is simulated, but you're free to move around the place.
This is the model version of the dam. We left the place when we were satisfied. And pushing the doors open, we entered the gallery cafe, which you can actually enter from the other side of the doors, which is beside the entrance of the gallery exhibition.

This is the actual size of the dam. Which is freaking cool. But we didn't explore that part.Taking the lift to the roof, we had our 'picnic'. Pizza!
I must say, the picnic was marvellous. It's FANTASTIC! XD

You can see the flyer and the city's skyline from here.
We couldn't finish the last few slices, so we started packing up. Jump shots! Enjoy!

Serious hangtime! The next generation of shampoo will definitely give you wings. Proof below.Pair jumps!Me on my imaginary skateboard! And finally the trio's jumpshot. Sadly Sarina's necklace covered her nose. Otherwise it'll be the perfect shot. After taking these shots, we satisfied bunnies made our way down the slope.
The fountain in the concourse. As you can see, across the fountain is the pump house. I didn't go and explore that place because I thought that the pump architectures would be the same as those at the Newater plant. And probably the wettest part of the barrage. And Yusman took a picture of me taking a picture of the fountain. Haha! And the result:Sarina and Raudha competed to see who could go through the most number of crosses under the fountain without getting wet. Sarina's back got hit by the spout on the third one, causing her back to be seriously wet.Raudha however, managed to pass the third one without getting wet. Congratulations! But no prize though. =(After that much fun, we walked around the place to dry our shirts/jeans. A good thing it was a sunny and windy day. Loving it. =)

And this is one of the many sculptures found around the Barrage. It's called What Goes Around Comes Around. An auspicious sculpture I must say. Because from this angle, it looks like the number 8. However I think this sculpture is somewhat unoriginal because I saw a similar one somewhere before.I like how this picture portrays a girl who doesn't care about anything in the world. She just wants to be free and blissful. Credits to Sarina for agreeing to 'pose' for the picture.Once we figured we were quite dry enough, we packed up and left the place. Stopped by the gift shop to check out the price of the kite. Surprisingly though, it's only 10 dollars.

We left the place shortly after. We covered most of the Barrage already. Seeing that there's nothing much else to see, we started making our way back.To the shuttle bus! I think this should be the entrance to the Barrage, although i'm still not quite sure.
We nearly got lost trying to find Marina Bay station. This is because the bus driver stopped in the middle of nowhere, amongst the construction. Under the blazing sun, we decided to stalk the passengers who took the same shuttle bus as us. We eventually managed to find the station. Stalking has its benefits. Apparently.

Seeing that it was actually still quite early, we decided that we want to go somewhere. And we decided to go Bugis.

Entering Bugis Junction, we took the lift from the basement to 3rd floor. And guess what greeted us through the glass elevator? We headed to Kinokuniya to check out the books there. And it looks like Nicholas Sparks renewed his book covers, and they're $17. Argh, I wanna work at Kinokuniya! =(

We walked around Bugis Junction and window shopped. Then to Bugis Street for more window shopping. Guess what we found at one of the shops? Another discovery!
Sebastian's shirt, which he wore to school on one of the days. Haha! After covering somewhat the whole of Bugis Street (just the interior, not the perimeter), we exited the place. Raudha had to leave so she left. Sarina wanted to explore Haji Lane, so I brought her there for some more walking.

Going around the place in u-turns, we found the place when we were about to head back to Bugis station. Walking through the alley that is Haji Lane, it is not a place where you should go alone.

Seeing that there is nothing else we can explore, we started making our way back to the station. We took different trains as I had to go jamming with Iskandar and Chico (aka Fareez) at Tampines.
